i have a problem following the module development instructions, where i have to "import definitions" and than select the .dnn file of my module.

The link is gone in the 5.2.2 vsi install.

How do i get my module far enough that i can test it out?

Greetings, Davidd.

They changed the way that 5.2.2 works, you need to go to Host -> Extensions. From there you can "create extension" and from there you can import the manifest.

I'll be blogging about this soon!

So to be absolutely clear,

I installed dnn 5.2.2 with vsi into visual studio,

ctrl-f5 and completed the install changed hostpassword etc

started developing a module like explained on so many websites. compiles without errors now.

next step in the manual is to go to host :: module definitions, and import the .dnn definitions

That link is gone, i have seen the link in normal installations 4.9.4 and others.
