OK, I think I have a workaround/solution. What I did was I changed line 8 (or around 8):

      DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery.Controller

to

This, in effect, is the same as running the SQL someone else sugested in another post that deletes the class property of the Gallery.

Anyway, I changed the line and re-uploaded the module. So far, it has stayed up for close to 12 hours (I have restarted IIS, rebooted the server, and waited for the idle time of the worker process to expire.)

Hope it helps you guys.

Dang. I guess posting it the way I did made the essential part of the code invisible...

OK, so let's try it again:

line 8  - from

_<_businesscontrollerclass_>_DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery.Controller_<_/_businesscontrollerclass_>_

to

_<_businesscontrollerclass_><_/_businesscontrollerclass_>_

Take out the all _underscores_ ...

Thanks naydencho, that seems to have fixed the problem for me.

Correction: naydencho's suggestion only seemed to work for about 24 hours.  I'm getting the "A critical error has occurred.  Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error again.

Update:  I decided to try these suggestions from a clean install of the gallery module.  Everything has been working perfectly for over 48 hours now after having done so.

The best I was able to keep the gallery running before was about 3 hours, so I'm hoping this is the final fix everyone has been looking for.  Cheers to all that helped out!
