Hello.

I've search for the past two hours on this. Ive tried everything i could find, including editing the fckconfig.js.

Whenver a user tries to embed a youtube or other video into the forum, all of the text entered disappears. It previews fine, but after submitting the post, POOF... all gone.

I'm unable to find a fix for this that works.

I've edited fckconfig.js as suggested:

FCKConfig.FullPage = true ;
FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add( /<object[\s|\S]+?<\/object>/gi ) ;
FCKConfig.ProtectedTags = 'html|head|body';

There was also mention that this was by design, but that was some time ago.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Gerry

The problem is actually the core filter applied to the post before it is sent to the database.
