Is there any way to establish for a given skin which pages/tabs that skin is installed on? Is there a SQL script - for example - that could be run? Or is there some way this info can be easily 'pulled' for a given install of DNN?

Not to my knowledge  , It would mean to do it the long way from admin/pages/ page setting

You should be able to run this, and get all the info you're looking for...

SELECT [TabID],[PortalID],[TabName],[TabPath],[SkinSrc],[ContainerSrc]
  FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Tabs
  WHERE [SkinSrc] IS NOT NULL

Excellent stuff Oliver. It worked perfectly. One thing however is that beside the path to the container or skin ascx files it says either [L] or [G]. Any idea what those letters stand for?

it determines if the skin is a [G]lobal (HOST) or [L]ocal (PORTAL) skin, DNN uses it to generate the full path to the ascx control at runtime
