Hello, I am a real novice and primarily post to our website. We have a white mode bar with view or edit stuck at the top of our main page of our website. I have checked all the settings for each page and nothing seems to be out of place or incorrect.  It only shows on the home page not on the other pages so I assume it would be in my home page settings.  There is nothing out of place there. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to correct this or where to look?

Do you mean that the control panel is at the top of the page, even when logged out?  If yes, then check the permissions for the page.

  1. Login as a site administrator.
  2. Go to the home page.
  3. Click the Settings icon on the left side of the Control Panel, under Page Functions.
  4. Look at the Permissions section near the top of the settings.
  5. Make sure that "All Users" has only View permissions, and not Edit permissions.
