I wonder if someone can help with a problem/?bug in 05.02.01

I have a host site running in which I've built a number of Parent postals. These are used to support medical student web projects.

The host is called DotnetNuke and the Portals run as Portal1, Portal2 etc

So the Host URL is http://Localhost/dotnetnuke and the portals as localhost/dotnetnuke/portal1 etc

This all works find except that if a link is set up in a page on the portals to for example portal1/home

it actually links to dotnetnuke/home.

When setting up the links in the FCKEditor the drop down shows only the pages from the portal but the link that is generated in the URl box points to the host URL. The portal page is:

http://129.xx.xx.xx/dotnetnuke/portal...

but the generated URl is dotnetnuke/Symptoms.aspx

If I trun of friendly URLs on the Host Seetings page it all works.

Can anyone explain why this is happening.

Is it a bug in the Editor?

Where does the mapping come from?

If there a fix to the Frriendly URls scripts / rules?

Thanks for your time on this.

Rick
