Is there a way to have more than one column -

1st record 2nd record
3rd record 4th record

instead of -

1st
2nd
3rd
4th

Could you be a bit more specific on what you need to know?  If you mean a list view then yes you can you just create a template for what you want the items to do.

if you have 4 fields in your record

record-1
1st field-fname 2nd field-lname
3rd field-age 4th field-location

and have two records. is there a way to put those 2 records beside each other instead of on top of each other

record-1
1st field-fname 2nd field-lname
3rd field-age 4th field-location
record-2
1st field-fname 2nd field-lname
3rd field-age 4th field-location

 instead of -

record-1
1st field-fname 2nd field-lname
3rd field-age 4th field-location
record-2
1st field-fname 2nd field-lname
3rd field-age 4th field-location

sorry I hope this is a little clearer
