I would like to remove the "Search site or web" from the skin I am using.  Can any tell me typically  which installed file or files need to be modified?

Thanks,

Bill L

Go into you 'skin.css' and 'container.css' files. You'll be able to find what you're looking for, depending on the skin.

I just finished modding mine and that's how I did it.

Well, thanks for the suggestion, however, I was unable to make the change.

There were no shin.css or container.css.  There was a only a default.css and styles.css.  I couldn't find anything in those that helped.  I modified the portal.ascx by removing any lines that refeenced Search or dnnsearch and that didn't seem to do anything.

Any other ideas or assistence will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, interesting. You do mean that there wasn't a "skin.css", correct?

*shrug* I guess maybe he had a skin.css... He already established that there wasn't a shin.css....

Not really sure how he didn't find it, regardless of wether or not it fixed his problem.
