I have forums up and running on my site, painless to setup and great to use.  Thanks for the hard work crispy.

I've only had complaints from people about post times. When two people look at the same post one says posted today at 9:30 AM and the other 3:30 PM.  I checked both user's profiles and they are both set to Pacific time so I thought they would show the same times.  Is there a known bug with this or did I miss something in the setup?

Thanks miken. Make sure under the module's Admin control panel -> General you have "Enable User Time Zones" checked. I am pretty sure that when this is checked and user's timezones in their profile are properly set you should be good to go. I haven't had bugs created for timezone functionality not being correct (and it works here on some other installs I manage).

I can tell you that I am having issues and it is not working as you describe. All of my users have UTC -4 (Atlantic Canada) time in their profile. Some are actually on Eastern time (UTC -3) but we decided not to update them yet. I have "Enable User Time Zones" selected. All of their posts are showing up as 4 hours ahead of the server time. I had to uncheck "Enable UserTime Zones" for now. Does the forum module think the database server time is in UTC and so it offsets by 4 hours?

I am also having a problem with post time for my users. The time of post is off by several hours. I just turned "enable user timezones" Off to see if things get better.

always make sure, portal default time zone is same as server time zone, otherwise due to misnamed methods there are a number of modules malfunctioning otherwise.
