I recently added 3 modules on a site (5.1.4) and then checked the box to "display module on all pages" for each one. I then discovered that all 3 modules had been added to all the Admin pages. I couldn't find a way to prevent this from happeneing, so I had to go through more than a dozen Admin pages and manually delete all 3 modules. Big waste of time.

I'm assuming this is because of changes that were made to make Admin pages "normal" pages. Unfortunately, I can't imagine anyone wanting the above scenario as the default behaviour. Someone needs to rethink this.

Is there a work around?

AFAIK this is a known issue (might be fixed in DNN 5.2.3), you need to manually remove the modules from admin pages.
