Hi

I would like to use the language as a condition in my code and i would like to know how to call it

 

If languageid = 0  then

 

Whatever. Visible = true

 

….

End if

 

Any idea

i'm not sure how you came to this question... dnn uses the asp.net methods of displaying pages in a certain culture, so when a certain language is selected by the language selector, the currentculture and currentuiculture values of the current thread are changed.

So you can always just get the current culture a page by checking system.threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture, for instance:

if system.threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture.name = "en-US" then

   whatever.visible = true

else

   whatever.visible = false

end if
