I have DNN version 5.2 and I can't seem to find the "search summary" area in any HTML module on my site..

Also not sure how well the search engine is actually indexing any HTML since nothing appears to be showing up..

Any help?

search summary feature has been removed in DNN 5, all the module text is handed over to search for published content. if it doesn't show up in search results, make sure, the search scheduler job is running and check search words table to contain the proper words from this module.

Ok, thank you!

One more question. Do the permissions associated with the page affect the search at all?

I have pages which are published, but only administrators can view them and they do not appear in search results (even when logged in as an administrator)

(Also, it appears as though only the "keywords" I've placed in the page are being indexed, and not all the text from the HTML module?)
