Dear Everyone:

I am building two sites. I have experience using DotNetNuke on companies owned servers, but I haven't had to actually go find a hosting company yet. Now I'm building these two sites and I need to find a hosting company that is affordable, works well with DotNetNuke, and has plans available for growth. Are there any web hosting companies that some one can recommend?

Thank you for all your help.

Danny

Take a look at Chris Hammonds blog: http://weblogs.asp.net/christoc/archive/2008/05/27/good-dotnetnuke-hosting-providers.aspx . He outlines a good list of companies that fit your needs. PointClick and PowerDNN specialize in DNN hosting, so I would start there.

We have had good luck with CrystalTech but you have to be careful if you are hosting any modules that need full trust (versus medium trust). That is true of most hosts though. PowerDNN seems very good to work with - several of our clients host there but the comment I often get is they are somewhat expensive.

Thanks,

Noel

CrystalTech is definitely one of the best to use for company sites.

I agree - Crystaltech is very good.
They offer full trust plans on most of their servers - even semi dedicated. The default plans are medium trust but once you set up a plan you can go to control panel and change it to full trust - there is no charge for this.
