Hi - here is what I would do.

Create a Login page using skin without navigation menu and links and place Account Login module in the content pane. Than make sure the page is visible to all users. In admin settings >> advanced, set that page as a login page and as a splash page. This way anyone who enters the site will go to that page.

Finally in user accounts >> user settings specify the "redirect page after login" to the required home page.

Hope this helps

You can do it within DNN too.

If you create a page in DNN. Call it LOGIN for example.

Add our DotNetNuke Login Module to the page, and setup a login redirect in that module that directs a logged in user to the sites actual HOME page.

Then set in the Admin Settings / Advanced Settings, for the LOGIN page to be the sites splash page. (or home page)

The end result will be that if you hit the URL you will get the login page. If you then login, you will be redirected to the sites intended home page. No need to muck around outside DNN with custom pages.
