I want to use a look-up to return page properties such as TAB:URL given something that uniquely identifies the page.  I do not know what this something is - its column type or the values it should hold.  All help gratefully received ...

Thanks in advance, Richard

in XSLT, you can query //udt:Context/udt:TabId

I really want to return the URL of a page, given another column which uniquely identifies the page (for example, using its Name). I was hoping to use a token like [TAB:URL] as the Token Text for a Source Column, when defining the Data Table Setup.

Cheers, Richard

Did you try the url datatype?

Hi Stefan

Yes, I can certainly use the URL column data type to manually create a hyperlink to any page in the system.

I am trying to eliminate the need to manually find the right page, by using an existing column that uniquely identifies the 'right' page.  I do something similar for users, where I have a user column, plus a lookup column which returns a user profile attribute such as [PROFILE:training].

So given a column which contains the page name, I would like a lookup to return the page's url.  What I cannot conceptually grasp is the relationship

User is to [PROFILE:attribute] as xxx is to [TAB:URL]

I just cannot work out what xxx might be!!!

Cheers, Richard
