Hi,

I recently upgraded my website from version 05.01.02 to 05.02.03.
The site seemed to be working fine until I got this error:

A critical error has occurred.
Invalid column name 'PortalName'. Invalid column name 'LogoFile'. Invalid column name 'FooterText'. Invalid column name 'Description'. Invalid column name 'KeyWords'. Invalid column name 'BackgroundFile'. Invalid column name 'HomeTabId'. Invalid column name 'LoginTabId'. Invalid column name 'UserTabId'. Invalid column name 'AdminTabId'. Invalid column name 'SplashTabId'. Invalid column name 'PortalName'.

I have no idea what is causing this error... however I did find an older post in the forums that may suggest that the error is due to a corrupt database.. any hints or any information on this will help me greatly.. and in the mean time I will keep looking for the solution to the problem, if I find one I will post it here aswell.

Hi,

I managed to find the problem, I had some custom modules installed that had the Portal Table in thier DBML's, once I updated the tables in the DBML's the problem seems to be a thing of the past. If you come accross this same error or something similar, I would reccomend you check all the DBML's that you can to see what they have in them, then compare your database tables between the old installation and the upgraded installation.
