Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a shot. Does anyone have any insight on creating a desktop application that will communicate with DNN5 or simply use the db back end of it. I am fairly new to dnn, but have experience with vb.net winforms. Any direction to tutorials, walkthroughs, modules, components or anything would be appreciated.

I have been working with it a little, but I am having problems with the GetUserName function. The clients work fine with my site, but I have the source code for the core connector and it keeps telling meit isnt available, only GetUser. I am at a loss on writing new methods, and have been searching all over with no real help. Are there any good tutorials on creating new methods?

I just followed the tutorial on Michael's site: http://iweb.adefwebserver.com/Default...

Seems like I had one minor issue with one of the example client apps (can't remember what), but found the answer in discussions: http://iweb.codeplex.com/Thread/List....
