All,

I'm looking around for a ticketing or workflow engine that we can plug events or issues into.  We have a custom reporting system that tracks different issues in our database.

Ideally, we would use our enterprise trouble ticketing system, however we don't have one standard worldwide and there are a relatively low number of users of this system that utilize our system to report events.  Some of the other issues are related to the fact that we would have to export the issues out of our system and into the other systems for integration.  We would then have to work with all of the other workflow/ticketing systems to track status and provide reporting.

So ideally, we're looking for a lightweight ticketing system we can bracket/shoehorn onto our system so can keep the events within one system...and only have to code once.  Anything open/free/share/low-cost ware that can be done within the M$ environment (.asp/.net) would be great.

Thoughts? Concerns? Am I crazy?

Jason

Are you talking about a help system?  I think http://www.onyaktech.com has something along these lines.

There's another one called Active Cases. I've never used it, but it looks nice.
