Hi,

I have a requirement for a Spanish language site to show friendly urls without accented letters for SEO reasons. Page titles etc have to have proper spelling (ie. with accents when necessary).

Anyone know how to configure a friendly url rule to convert accented letters ([áéíóú]) to the non-accented equivalent ([aeiou]). Any help much appreciated.

AFAIK UrlMaster from wwww.ifinity.com.au does support stripping diacritics from tab names.

Thanks Sebastian. Does that mean that it's not possible to do this with the standard DNN friendly url rules? (Another change request for future versions then )

Installed the UrlMaster demo, and it strips diacritics as promised. It's easy to install and configure. So far so good.

At least I haven't heard of anyone who succeeded adding appropriate rules.
