I am expecting to land a job soon as a project manager at a local business that produces a lot of DNN based sites for clients. Most of my work will deal with skinning (HTML and CSS) and Module research. I have never used DNN before and come from the world of Drupal and Wordpress... Is there any resources you can provide to help me out.

I am mainly looking for links to sites such as: http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/

Anything that can help me locate modules, training, tips and tricks, skinning guides, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I look forward to giving back to the community when I get my feet planted.

Nick Symmonds book "Beggining DotNetNuke 4.0 Web Site Creation in VB 2005 with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express" has a very good section on skinning. He even includes the gotcha's and how to solve them. This is my best resource for DNN so far. I wish he had one for VWD 2008 and DNN v5.

there are a number of books about DotNetNuke, as well as www.dnncreative.com online magazine, which has a strong focus on skinning and design.

Check out the Wrox DNN books. DNN Creative has some good tutorials. Engage University (www.engageuniversity.com) has a free intro class and some great training for beginners.
