I have searched the forums and have found other people have aksed the same question but no one seems to have got an answer, but here goes anyway......

I am using the Banner Module.  I can't get the Banner to link to anything it just refreshes the page.  I tried putting the URL in the URL field of Banner Advertising, and in the Website field of Vendor under Other Settings.  But it does the same thing, just refreshes the page.

Have I missed an additional setting?  Is it possible to incorrectly specify a URL or is this a bug rendering the Banner Module unusable?

Please help before I loose all my hair.

Most links on the site will get rewritten. Make sure that the URL you provide contains http:// in front of the site name. If that is not there the link is assumed to be relative to the page that you are on and will return a strange URL that will not work.

I have just double checked, and yes I have included http://.  It is interesting you have managed to get it to work.  I was begining to assume the module was faulty, especially as there is no dedicated forum.

I am working on the basis that I will have to buy a module to resolve this.

It works pretty well but is a little bit convoluted to set up.  Make sure everything is correct in the venders section and that the banner is actually associated with the right venders.
