DNN Professional edition has workflow built into it.

At the moment if you chose 'content approval' it sends out notification to all web administrators.

Is there a way to add content owners to every page and send out the notification to them when the content is ready rather than informing all administrators.

I believe the final approval should come from the business owner who owns the content.

Thanks

Though I haven't had a look at Professional Edition yet, I expect this to be a known limitation of the permission grid, which always includes administrators into every role. The only workaround I know, is having a minimal group of people in administrators and use a second role with edit permissions granted to most of the pages and admin modules
