I have a situation where I need to update a whole grid full of data to sql, something similar to a batch update. I have defined an object for the type of object that the grid contains and I want to pass a dataset or a datatable to the sqlDataProvider.vb class so that this can be done in one call. I looked at the different methods available in the sqlHelper class (executeDataset, executeNonQuery, executeReader, UpdateDataset etc), but none of them seemed to do what I am looking for. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Please can you send me some pointers?

Thanks,

AB

This might be a good case for using LINQ, check out some of the tutorials that Michael Washington has for using linq with DNN

Is there any way to do this without using LINQ?
