When I try to add/delete a module I am getting the following error "There is insufficient system memory in resource pool 'internal' to run this query."

Server Configuration:
-------------------------
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition 64-bit
IIS 7.0
MS SQL SERVER 2008 (Express edition)
1GB RAM

Is something related to resource pool ? Please help me to identify the issue.

Unfortunately I would say it is likely related to the fact that your server only has 1gb of ram. Any chance you can up that resource?

@ Chris,

What RAM configuration do you suggest ? I am planning to have 1-2 instances of DNN in SQL 2008 Express Edition

I would start with at least 2gb of ram minimum. That should be plenty for 1-2 instances. 1gb is just awful low to start.

usually SQL Server takes about 1 GB of RAM to cache data, you might be able to configure this to be less, but I also suggest to install at least 2 GB - the more modules and concurrent users you have, the more they will benefit from memory caching, which requires additional RAM.
