Thats fantastic news, i was wondering as a good user case for it at the moment in our work place is we have 2 companies with 3 portals

1 - Main
2 - Company 1
3 - Company 2

Head office staff are needing access to all 3 portals but not as host and each company staff members are wanting access to only their individule portals.  As currently at the minute i don't think you can register the same username and password in more than one portal and we don't need normal users to have host access the problem then lies where each staff member then refuses to learn multiple user account details.  I hope you can see our problem.  I'm sure this is not a single case scenerio and as you can see for users who want to utilise the advantage of the frameworks multiple portal usage on a single IP.  Hense am really looking forward to now when it happens.

actually you can register the same user as long as you use the same username/password combination - rather than create a new user record we just create a new userportals record, which means that theres only 1 user account (and profile). Note: security roles are still portal specific.

Sweet, i never tried that. Still deff though portal groups is deffinitly a feature though that i think is missing from utilising the features of the multiple portal/IP experience and is something i am looking forward to seeing in hopfully a future release.
