When I add a graphic at the top of my web page, it causes the web page to overflow the window size and now to view the right side of the page people must now use the horizontal slider. I would like the whole page to fit into a 'standard' web window. Can somebody tell me how to make it fit without requiring horizontal scrolling? Thanks. John

This could be caused by any number of things. What size is the Graphic you are trying to enter into your site?

1395 x 196 - however, when I reduce the graphic width so it fits, the rest of my page still overlaps the window. It's like the insertion of the original graphic caused everything to stretch. Is there a specifc graphic width for a 'standard' page?

What did you use to insert the graphic into the page? A standard HTML module or something else?

It's possible that even though you resized the image there is some outer HTML that is still causing the width to go beyond the normal page size.

As for a standard size for a standard page, unfortunately there are so many possibilities that is hard to say. It depends on the SKIN you are using on your website. Some skins go full width, others are fixed width, some target 800x600 screens, others target 1024x768, others bigger.

I used the standard text editor and the graphic insertion icon. I'm using In-Gray templates. Is htere a method of checking for some outer HTML that might be causing the issue?
