 Any other suggestions???? The only thing that makes sense to me now is to restore the site as it was (dnn4) and keep updating from build to build. Someone told me to do that, since dnn5 upgrade is too tricky when trying to upgrade from such an old version.

I had to run back from the 5.3.1 to the 4.9.5, that is really stable and working, because upgrade don't work for me.

The thing is that I'm using new modules now, new themes, etc. and I really need to upgrade dnn version.

remove all files from inside /app_code/chat, which will disable chat module, but the rest of your site will be back up.

The upgrade process worked, but now it shows a new error after update. Here it is:
