Now I cannot login as host nor can I login as admin.  How do I reset the host password without logging in?

Robert, how did you upgrade? Using the UPGRADE package? Did you happen to replace the web.config file? You didn't need to if you did. You'll need the MachineKey values from the backup of the web.config file, replace that in the new web.config and you should be able to login again.

I used the full install, which also does an upgrade.  Perhaps this is the problem.  That is how I have always done upgrades.  But I saw a post of yours about this issue elsewhere and was able to fix the problem.

Thanks!

Yeah, using the full install will cause the problem if you don't copy the machinekey values. I always use the UPGRADE package for upgrades anymore. You can definitely still use INSTALL but you need to be careful of the web.config file settings.
