I have just upgraded to DNN 5.3.0 from DNN 5.2.3. Ever since the upgrade, clicking on the register link just loads the homepage on my site. I have tried changing the setting but it has no effect.

I can confirm same issue. You can manually get to registration page by adding parameters ctl=register, but clicking on Register link or from Account Login register link, both redirect to home page. Tried creating a new page and changing Admin Settings for User Registration page to point to new page with All Users permission with same issue. It is as if the register control is not properly redirecting to the ctl=Register.

Have you guys tried restarting the application (Host Settings > Restart Application) or better yet doing an IISRESET?  Perhaps caching is a problem?  I have upgraded two sites and have not run into this issue.

IISReset does not help. It works going there manually, but just does a redirect if I click on Register link.
