This is something a little new to me so please bear with me.

I'm looking to develop an online Risk Management system, using OWS and running on the DNN framework.  This also needs to allow users with laptops or PDAs to download form type templates (including drop-down data etc) from it to use when offline, using some sort of custom application or possibly Xforms.  This then would save their form data and allow them to upload it all back into the database when online so they can then access it all from the online system within DNN.

I'm wondering what general approach I should probably be looking at to meet these offline needs.  Is something like Xforms capable of this or should I be looking at something else?  Does anyone have any experience with offline data input that is uploaded later?

Thanks
