I just logged in as Admin and tried to Move a Thread... everything worked OK up until the point I hit move Thread then the page posted back and reloaded, with no message, no error in the log and the thread firmly where it started. I clicked the cancel link and the same thing happened. Neither the Move Thread not the Cancel buttons do anything that I can detect.

Either I've configured things such that I'm trying an illegal move or something is wrong. Help someone?

Thanks,

There is a bug, the click handlers are missing in the code.

OK... so is there any other way to move threads?

Either alter the code, recompile and deploy. (Fix in developing forums threads), wait for another release, or handle moving threads via straight SQL. (This involves basically executing the existing sproc but knowing what params to send the sproc)

Ouch... I'm not quite ready to recompile modules yet - but if someone else had compiled the forums with this fix and would be happy to share their dll I'd happily receive it.

Any idea when the next release will be?

I guess you must be running as rebuilt version on these forums because posts move all the time.
