we seem to have lost some dnn icons (such as the up and down arrows for moving a forum post)

we did recently rolled back the database and content files to a week earlier (to fix another issue) and these thumbnail images no longer appear.

we have also been without some other icons too for a while - the icons which appear next the admin and host menu are also missing (just get the red X instead).

is it simply a matter of copying these files back into a folder to get them back?

- i've looked in the images/ folder and i can see a lot of the images are actually there (yet are missing on the site).

- thought it might be a permissions issue on the images folder, but network service and asp.net have permissions set and i can see the large icons (32px) but not the small ones (16px).

thanks,
mark.

Did you check the path to the images in the HTML source of the page and try to open the images in your browser directly?

I've found out why some of them were not there.

THESE ARE OK NOW:
The images were not there in the

FORUM Images:
LOCATION: DesktopModules/Forum/Themes/DNNSilver/images/    s_arrowup.gif (and also s_arrowdown)

Were not there, instead this image is now called "s_up.gif"  in DNN 5.1
- Maybe it was after an upgrade the DNN decided to change the name of some images?
- I renamed some images and now work.

"thread_newest.png"  - was actually named a gif file in my installation.

THESE ARE STILL MISSING:
Images such as this one (admin/host drop down / rollover menu icons)

http://www.sypensions.org.uk/developm...
http://www.sypensions.org.uk/admin/Co...

They appear when navigating directly and are in this folder:

admin/ControlPanel/images/

JavaScipt is used to display (but I have set my internet options to allow javascript):

The code which references the image looks a bit like this:

< a id= "IconBar.ascx_cmdSiteIcon" class="CommandButton" href= __doPostBack('IconBar.ascx$cmdSiteIcon','')" >
< img id="IconBar.ascx_imgSiteIcon" src="/development/admin/ControlPanel/images/iconbar_site.gif" alt="Edit Site Settings" style="border-width:0px;" / >
< /a>
