if you encounter same issue, please check in the database, whether the stored procedure exists. Which DNN and HTML module version are you using?

I have installed DNN 5.5.1 and the HTML module version 5.4.3. The stored procedure AddHtmlText did not exist. If i remember correctly there were some errors with this module during earlier DNN updates. I have taken now the sproc part from the latest SqlDataProvider file within the module's installation package containing the AddHtmlText stored procedure and did run it as a SQL-script. Till now all is doing now right.

Kind regards
Nicolo

I'm having a similar issue (I know this thread is old). I downloaded the exact same version of a dnn site from the dnn downloads site. I created a module on my local copy, then imported it into the client's site (it was based off of the html module). It works fine on my site, but on the client's site, when I go to save, I get:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The stored procedure 'dbo.AddHtmlText' doesn't exist. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: The stored procedure 'dbo.AddHtmlText' doesn't exist. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.DeriveParameters() at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommandBuilder.DeriveParameters(SqlCommand command) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.DiscoverSpParameterSet(SqlConnection connection, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.GetSpParameterSetInternal(SqlConnection connection, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelperParameterCache.GetSpParameterSet(String connectionString, String spName, Boolean includeReturnValueParameter) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteScalar(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.SqlDataProvider.AddHtmlText(Int32 ModuleID, String Content, Int32 StateID, Boolean IsPublished, Int32 CreatedByUserID, Int32 History) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.UpdateHtmlText(HtmlTextInfo objHtmlText, Int32 MaximumVersionHistory) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.EditHtml.cmdSave_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
