I miss understood what the end results to Sebastian's instructions on adding to the Blog roll would be, but now I understand. Previously I had created a Blog and made posts related to website design, but then my business partner wanted to begin adding Blog posts related to print and graphic design AND we want each post to show the name of the person making the post.   I was trying to add her to the Blog so that we could both submit posts and show our individual names.  It does not work that way.  But if you I followed Sabastian's instruction for granting permission and then did the steps I listed below,  I was able to meet my objective in another way.

1. create a user account with the name you want to have displayed when you make a post
2. login with that account - -> this is critical!
3. click create a Blog
4. Name the title of the Blog as you want it to appear & create a description

You will now see the new Blog under the previous blog in the Blog roll (the top line says view all Blogs and then EACH Blog is listed under the view all).  This allows visitors to see post for all Blogs or the specific Blog.

I ended up renaming the original Blog to make it a bit more specific to the area of web (I had a broader name before when I thought it was going to include both web and print related posts).  The new blog is related to print and design. In the long-run I think this is better because as we add more posts it will be easier for visitors to see posts by topic.

If you want multiple people to make post in one Blog and you do not require the name to reflect the individual poster you could create a generic user account with the company name or a blog handle and then multiple people could use the account to make posts to a single Blog.

This may not solve everyone's problem, but it worked for me and I hope that this information helps others.  To see what we did with our Blog go to www.arukor.com

I followed the instructions and then I logged in as the person (new account) who wants to be able to make Blog posts.  Using their username, I clicked on "create Blog" and set-up a new Blog.

The following steps helped me where certain blogs needed entries from multiple users.  I needed to create a single generic user that can be used by all who wanted to post entries to the same blog.

1.  Create a user account that is generic, for example 'dnnblogger'.   I wanted multiple users to use the same account to post.
2.  If there are any blogs that this new user should be able to add entries to, Update UserID column in Blog_Blogs table, replace it with the userid of dnnblogger.
3.  Log in as dnnblogger, you should get the options to post
