So i was working on my site yesterday and all of a sudden noticed that all the modules are sitting on black background. After doing much of "undoing" thinking that I caused it, i realized that the site DB has just been hacked and in the TabModules table, color field, all the records show rgb color(51,51,51) or something like that. I have a dedicated server with a few databases on it, this one looked like the only one effected. I'm no hacker myself, and don't specialize in tracing things, but is there a way to find out how or by whom this was done?

Thanks.

Are you sure that someone didn't update the Module Settings for one of your modules with that color, and choose Apply to All Modules that is available in the module settings? You might go check out the eventlog table or the Event Viewer (Log Viewer) tab under the admin menu to see when module settings were last updated.

Well, that would make me feel about 5000% better if that was the case! I totally forgot about that option, there were 2 users which have admin level rights on some pages, so even if they don't have admin rights to the entire site they can still update all modules huh?

Well, I would assume that setting would only apply to modules they have edit rights too, but I haven't tested that out myself before.
