Dear all:

I am a new to DotNetNuke, I installed NotNetNuke4.0 on server 2003 machine properly. Also on the server 2003 I can browser and work it properly using localhost as host name, for example: http://localhost/DotNetNuke/Default.aspx

But then I change to another machine in my LAN, and tried to browser it using IP for example http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/DotNetNuke/Def....

It can not be browsered by IP system shows "the web page can not be accessed" (Notes that html pages can be viewed properly, which means IIS should work), So is there any configuration changes i missed?, What should i do if i need to post the DotNetNuke to LAN so other people can access.

Really appreciate your helps....

Thanks!

Bill

Bill, you need to add a new Portal Alias for the IP address you are trying to access.

You can do this by logging in as HOST (superuser) and going to the Admin/Site Settings page. Add a new Portal Alias there with your IP address.
