Hi,

Would a password chnage performed on a DNN site that utilises AD authentication then change the password in AD?

For example password is changed on DNN site, then when user accesses Outlook Web Access they will need to use the new password. If this is the case, how long does it take for new password from site to hit AD.

Thanks in advance

No, AD authentication is strictly a one-way street. All it does is check the username/password with AD to see if it is correct. It will also pull the display name from AD, but never sends anything back.

You "could" change the password via Outlook Web Access, and then you'd have to use the new password next time logging into DNN.
