I apologize in advance if this has been posted already, but I couldn't find it...

I would like to add a "Contact Us" link (for example) to my skin - the link would take me to a page on my site.  I am not aware of a tag that will allow me to do this.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks,

- Ron.

Well if you are using the standard editor that comes installed with DotNetNuke - you actually have to put the link in yourslef - on the toolbar is icon with the link on it to create - but you still have to put in hard coded url reference.

If you were using the FCKEditor - it's actually integrated with DotNetNuke and allows you to browse server and find the page or image or document to attach, all within the editor.

But generally I have two windows open - one with the links in the address bar and the one I'm editing in and add the links that way.

If you know the name of the Tab/Page then you can put a link in your Skin like this:

<a href="?tabname=Contact Us">Contact Us</a>

Like Nina said though, you would have to already have a tab named "Contact Us" created through the Tab/Page Manager.

Indeed, I start all my skins from scratch using either a table or CSS based frame (tables are easier at the moment, imho) once you're comfortable with the ASCX nomenclature you can code in that as well.... Then it's only a issue of inserting a standard A HREF link. and voila! However, no skin is the same and depending on how your skin is designed and what functionality you need, this may not work.

I apologise - I misread the post -I thought you were talking about the site - not the skin - very sorry here!! Lat nights.

Ok - Take back what I said - John Mitchell is right.

I thought you need to add a link within the site.  *sigh*

I must talk with John and see what else he's got up his sleeve!
