I cannot get my site to fit on a page. I'm using default DNN skins, The bar containing page menu and the search box exceeds the size of my image and content panes. You can see this if you look at the actual site www.categoricalventures.com

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of the default module/container/skin or whatever is causing this problem, It's driving me crazy.

Thanks ... John

as looking at your page it seems that the width of the image is large so it can be fixed by reducing its size from  less than 1000px

Unfortunately this does not fix the problem. I've reduced the image from1000 to 750x188 px but it has no effect on the site that I can see.

Any other ideas?

Works when I look at it, though you really ought to reduce the size of the source image rather than letting the browser do it. At over 600kB the image is heavy.

John,

You placed the "content" in the toppane - which is OK.  But when the browser goes to determine the space required for the tables, it looks all elements within the table.   This will include the Leftpane, Contentpane, and RightPane.  The CSS Styling for the Left and Right pane have a fixed width of 175px !!  This is the additional space.

Remove the widths as defined in the Skin.css file and things should improve.

Hope this helps
Paul.
