 friends!

(working on 5.1.1) I am having an issue here. I am ready with my custom module. and i started creating module package for that. I see that there is "Include Source" checkbox in one of step of "creating a package wizard". I didnt checked that but anyways those .cs files are still there.

So, I simply removed all .cs files and precompiled the website and pur the dlls within the package zip fie and updated the .dnn file.

now the problem is - when i am trying to install module in 5.3.1 > is gets installed properly. I can see the installed module in "Module Definition" list but When I try to select the module from the "Module DropDownList" UP in the panel; I am not able to see my newly installed module there. I tried to figured it out and find that "PortalModuleDefinition" table was not having record of my installed module. (anybody having any idea why?) As I entered a record mannually, my modules shows up in the dropdownlist to be selectable.

anybody having any idea why newly installed module wont show up first in the dropdownlist under control panel?

OR

anybody having any idea on why "PortalModuleDefinition" table is not recording newly installed module?

Sorry, but precompilation of the DNN web site is currently not supported and require code changes.
