The april calendar opens full of events. Click on May and again it shows many categorized and colored events. Change the "view category" combo to any category and many events go missing. (yes the missing events match the category chosen to view - so they should be there) Change back to "All" category view and now, many more events are missing after the refresh. Go back to April and they are all back. I'm trying to  understand why events are not showing in the next month if (and only if) a user uses the category filter.

This is happening on two different DNN installs. One is DNN 4.8 with events 5.0.3 and the other one is DNN .3.1 and Events 5.0.3.

Thank you for reading and I appreciate your help.

I'm suprised you have Events 5.0.3 working on DNN 3.1. The lowest version supported is DNN 4.7.0, and in theory it simply shouldn't work on 3.1 unless you ahve re-compiled it.

Can you provide a link to one of the sites where you have a problem?

Thanks
Roger

We are also having the same problem.
DotNetNuke version 5.01.02(51)
Events version 5.0.3
Website (calendar page): http://topcc.org/dnn/GeneralInfo/Cale...
Click on "June" (or the next month).
Notice there is a General Meeting on June 24th.  The category for this event is "General".
Choose "General" from the Categories list.  All the events disappear.
Choose "All" from the Categories list.  Only a few of the events come back.
This also happens on another site I work on, but I can't provide a link because it's only available to certain groups.
This problem happens in both IE7 (7.0.5730.11) and IE8, but is not a problem in Firefox 3.5.7

I reported this also as a problem some time ago, but found that my problem appeared to be related to the client PC I was using...  http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/WorkIte...

I never solved it.

There must be something different about how these PCs are set up because I don't have a problem on the site linked here. Can you try turning off 'Partial Rendering'. Go to Host/Module Definitions. Then edit the Events module, then edit the Events module control, untick 'Supports Partial Rendering' and then save out...

Cheers
Roger
