 I found that http://www.watchersnet.de has a very good implementation of YAF as a module for DNN. I have a problem with the mail settings there but overall it looks like a very good thing.

Does anybody has experience with YAF in DNN and can say if it worth the trouble of using it over Active Forums or the core forum module?

Any input will be great.

A while back I looked at a number of options for forums, and in the end Active Forums was the end solution as it just works, and works well.

 Thanks Mitchel, I agree that Active Forums is great module, but did you check YAF too?

I need to have something else then AF to diversify my offering. Also I have to consider the fact that YAF is open source and some of my clients will be happy to use it for free.

Not to mention that YAF is considered a good forum outside DNN platform.
