Hi,

I am using DNN version 4.9.4 for a site and the install came with a DNN forum module.

My issue is that when posting a thread or replying to a thread the skin changes.  The forum module appears in the site skin, but adding a thread or replying seems to use a different skin which we have set up for the administration of the site.  The site skin is what the end user is supposed to see.  The admin skin is just simpler and looks way different.

Does anyone know how to change the skin settings for the module so that it uses the site skin only for the entire functionality of the forum tool?

Thanks
Tanya

That is unfortunately the way DNN handles skins. If you load a specific control for a module you will get the "admin" skin. In DNN5 this was renamed to Edit skin which makes it a little more apparent what is occurring.
