 You need to make sure that you have configured the mail server you will be using in the host settings ("SMTP Server Settings").

There is 'test' links on the mail settings that will help you to see if the connection to the mail server works at all.

Please note that most mail servers will require you to log on before they will accept incoming requests, so the most used option here is "basic" and to fill in the username and password for the security part.

Kind regards,

</P>

Log in as Host user.

Navigate to Host-->Host-->Host Settings

Expand the section "Advanced Settings"

Expand the section "SMTP Server Settings"

After you have entered the SMTP Server and port (if any) address, you will most likely need to select Basic SMTP Authentication and enter the e-mail account's username and password. You'll find a "Test" link to the right of the SMTP server field.

Also note that some mail servers may pass the test but still fail to "relay" mail coming from a different domain (for example from someone who enters their own e-mail address as the Send From address on the feedback form). If that is the case you will want to configure the Feedback module's setting for Send From to use an address in the site's domain. The email address which the send of the feedback enters will then be automatically used as the Reply To address in the email.
