Peter,

I tried following the steps you mentioned to change the .dnn manifest for source installation.
I was able to install the module successfully with all the (.vb) files visible in my solution in visual studio.

But, when I try to debug it, the break points on these vb files are not hit.  It appears as if the module is running using the dlls but not these source files.
I also tried removing read only property for all the (.vb)designer files it still didn't help.

Can you please help me with this so that i can debug and edit the vb files.

Regards
Tej

First of all, make sure that the bin output folders of your projects are set correctly, so that the dll's and pdb's of the bild are created in your develop website bin folder
Build your project in debug mode, check that the dll's and pdb's are created in your websites bin folder
Attach the debugger to the W3C process that runs your website (this is normal web development and debugging).

You should be able to debug your code as normal.
If not, U think that this has not much to do with the Events module as such, but with your dvelopment environment.
