Seems that the localization chaps have slipped up a little. If your portal doesn't have a name in the active culture language the you will get this error.

I resolved this on my installation by viewing the portal in en-GB (the default culture for this particular portal) then... Host->Portals-> Edit the portal in question and give it a name in all enabled languages.

Seems that if you do the install and then install a language pack it all seems to work ok, but I saw this error after doing an upgrade on a database that already had a few languages enabled.

Ok.... Here's one for the boys and girls in the DNN Test lab... Kids... Don't try this at home... 1. Create a clean install. 2. Enable another language. 3. Set this language to the Portals default language. 4. Navigate to Host->Portals... Where's my Portal gone??? It must still be alive because I'm still working in it... Hence the null reference for Breadcrumbs. If your Portal doesn't have a name set up in the Default language you won't see it in the Portals list... But fear not, it is still there, just not speaking your language!!! Rob
