We have news feeds working well at http://www.fathers-resources.com/FreeResources/News/ChildCustodyNews/tabid/514/Default.aspx

running on w2k server with a custom web_dotnetnuke.config file in use as recommended in Dotnetnuke Code Access Security.pdf.

Now, we are moving to a new server running w2k3 server and the feeds are failing. See http://dnn6.viewzall.com/FreeResources/News/ChildCustodyNews/tabid/514/Default.aspx

When I attempt to make add any specific feed url's as shown in Dotnetnuke Code Access Security.pdf., the entire dnn site breaks with reference to line 259 of machine.config. That line is:

<add assembly="*"/>

(inside the <assemblies> </assemblies> block)

Any advice?

after changing the security context of a site, you need to fully unload the application, either by recycling the application pool or doing an IISRESET.
