Hi all,

I installed events version 4 and also installed the dutch languagepack.

But recently i did the update of events, so now i'm using version 5.0.1.

I also downloaded the languagepack for this. I tried to install the languagepack, but

it says : alread installed.

so my question is how should i deal with this?

I didn't try it by myself but I think that you can try to uninstall and then try to install a new version again.

Check our dnn modules and dotnetnuke skins to see where you can start.

first u have to remove the old language pack n with this steps Removing a Language Pack When you remove a language pack, all language engines, language support files, and applicable registry keys are removed, and all user interface text reverts to the default language. Note The following procedure describes how to remove a language pack by using the installation CD. You can also remove a language pack by using Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. To remove a language pack 1.Insert the Microsoft Speech Server Language Pack CD. The Setup Wizard detects the language pack on your computer. 2.Select Remove, and then click Next. 3.Follow the on-screen instructions. 4.Click Finish to complete the removal. n then install the new one

usually, if you try to install an updated language pack, installation should work w/o issues. However, language packs in legacy format are always regarded as version 1.0.0, and therefore "already installed" is displayed. However, there is an option to reinstall, you should select to update the language pack w/o the need to uninstall previous version.
