Is there any documentation or tutorials on how to extend the DNN sitemap with module data (new to DNN 5.3.1)? My searches turned up only announcements.

 Hi,

I don't know about the DNN core sitemap provider... but I know iFinity has a (free open source) sitemap provider and some documentation / instructions on how to write your own extensions for your modules.

I'd like to use something that will be in the core and become the defacto standard.

To answer your question : the capability is in the DNN release but the details haven't been released yet.

If you're going to develop a custom provider, you can do it for the ifinity one, and then port it later to the DNN version.  There's really only one way to do it, so I would think that most of the code you write will be re-usable.
