I'm seeing lots of good activity on the codeplex site. Any updates on the timing of this? How stable is the current code base? I need to make some customizations to the module and would much rather build on top of 5.1 vs 5.0.3.

You can always get the current latest version of the code from CodePlex, so even if we have not released any form of 5.1 yet, you have access.
I gave the current version of 5.1.0 a test round today. And I am working this evening (asof now) on the beta package of 5.1.0, so the beta should become available within days. Please note that I have spotted some small minor issues that we will fix before a formal release will be submitted to the release tracker.
